Celtic Set £30m Price Tag for Nicolas Kuhn Amid Premier League Interest

Celtic winger Nicolas Kuhn’s exceptional form has sparked Premier League interest, with Fulham and Brentford reportedly monitoring his situation. Former Celtic player Johan Mjallby believes the Scottish champions will demand a substantial fee to part with their star player.

Kuhn’s impressive start to the season, with 10 goals and 11 assists, has caught the attention of top-flight clubs. Sky Germany reports that Fulham and Brentford have already made inquiries about the 24-year-old.

Celtic valued Kuhn at £8.4million (€10million) after his £3million arrival from Rapid Vienna last January. However, Mjallby suggests a significantly higher price tag would be required to persuade the Hoops to sell.

Pressed on what kind of bid it would take for Celtic to sell Kuhn in January, Mjallby stated: “I’m pretty sure they will do everything to keep him.”

Mjallby drew comparisons to Brighton’s signing of Matt O’Riley, implying a similar bid of around £30million could test Celtic’s resolve.

“Celtic will likely demand a premium fee to part with their prized asset, reflecting his growing importance to Brendan Rodgers’ side,” Mjallby added.

With Celtic chasing domestic and European success, Rodgers is unlikely to want to lose Kuhn. The winger’s contract runs until 2029, strengthening Celtic’s negotiating position.
