Engels Issues Defiant Vow Ahead of Premier Sports Cup Final
Celtic midfielder Arne Engels has confidently declared the Hoops’ readiness for the Premier Sports Cup final against Rangers next month.
Engels took to Instagram, hailing Celtic’s 6-0 semi-final demolition of Aberdeen as “huge.” The Belgian midfielder played a pivotal role in the victory, delivering a battling performance and showcasing his creative flair.
“We booked our place in the Hampden showdown, and now we’re focused on the final,” Engels seemed to suggest.
Celtic’s dominant display saw goals from Cameron Carter-Vickers, Kyogo Furuhashi, Daizen Maeda (hat-trick), and Nicolas Kuhn. Engels’ corner kick assist for Carter-Vickers’ opener and his layoff for Kuhn’s strike highlighted his impressive contribution.
Manager Brendan Rodgers will lead his team into the December 15 final against Rangers, seeking to assert Celtic’s cup dominance.
Engels’ vow echoes the Hoops’ determination to triumph over their Glasgow rivals.
