Bad News for Leeds as KEY PLAYER Suffers Injury That Needs a Surgery and Farke Disclosed His Return Date to be on….

Leeds United Suffer Injury Setback as £4.6m Summer Signing Undergoes Surgery

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has confirmed that £4.6m summer signing Isaac Schmidt has undergone surgery on a minor hernia injury during the international break.

Schmidt, who has made a limited impact since his arrival at Elland Road, will miss Sunday’s Championship clash against Swansea City. However, Farke expects the player to return to training next week, indicating a relatively quick recovery.

Farke shared the update during his pre-match press conference, stating: “Bad news with Isaac Schmidt, he needed a little hernia surgery, he will definitely miss out [vs Swansea]. Hope to have him back in training next week.”

Meanwhile, Largie Ramazani is poised to return to the squad after participating in parts of team training this week. The winger has been sidelined with ankle ligament damage, missing Leeds’ last four matches.

Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev remain long-term absentees, while Junior Firpo will serve the second of a three-match ban against Swansea.
