Leeds Dream Number 10 is Set to Join in January? Player with an Affiliation with Red bulls and a TOP PRIORITY for Leeds Could be on His Way to Elland Road in January

Leeds United’s Red Bull Link Could Secure Dream Number 10 Signing

Leeds United’s partnership with energy drink giants Red Bull could prove crucial in securing the signature of highly-rated Real Salt Lake midfielder Diego Luna, according to transfer expert Graeme Bailey.

The Whites have been exploring options to strengthen their attacking midfield department, with Luna emerging as a prime target. Bailey believes the club’s affiliation with Red Bull, which acquired a 10% stake in Leeds in June, could provide valuable insight into the American player’s abilities.

“Leeds can rest on the Red Bull organisation, they can pick up the phone to the Red Bulls in New York and ask what they think about that player,” Bailey explained. “It opens up avenues. It can save you money. I expect Leeds to be in the American market, it doesn’t surprise me the links with Luna – I’ve heard he’s a good player.”

MLS expert Dylan Walsh shares Bailey’s optimism, predicting Luna would thrive in the Championship if given the opportunity. “100%. Luna showed this year why he’s considered one of the most exciting talents not just in the United States, but all of North America, with Mauricio Pochettino’s Stars and Stripes and Mexico both currently in a bidding war to secure the youngster’s international services.”

Leeds United’s scouting network has faced criticism in recent times, with Gretar Steinsson and Jordan Miles departing Elland Road. However, the club’s partnership with Red Bull could mitigate these concerns, leveraging the energy drink giant’s extensive scouting network.

Red Bull’s majority ownership of RB Leipzig and Salzburg has yielded numerous gems, including Jack Harrison, Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson. Bailey believes this experience could prove invaluable in assessing Luna’s potential.

“Championship clubs are looking at the American market, Morris has done a fantastic job,” Bailey noted. “A few clubs have been alerted to that, financially it’s an untapped resource. Boro got Morris in for less than £5m, now he could be a £20m player.”

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has hinted at a quiet January transfer window, but the club’s interest in Luna suggests otherwise. With Red Bull’s backing, the Whites may be able to secure a deal that wouldn’t break the bank.
