Archie Gray To RE-SIGN for Leeds? Former Leeds United Goalkeeper Gives a Three-word VERDICT on Archie Gray’s Supposed RETURN to Leeds After Struggling to Fit into Spurs Squad….

Archie Gray’s Leeds United Return Ruled Out by Former Whites Goalkeeper

Former Leeds United and Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson has categorically dismissed rumors of Archie Gray rejoining Leeds on loan in January, stating “absolutely no chance.”

Gray, 18, made a £30 million summer switch from Leeds to Tottenham but has since played just 581 minutes. Despite limited game time, Robinson believes Gray’s Spurs career is “exactly on track.”

“His Tottenham career is going exactly according to plan as to what Ange Postecoglou would have wanted,” Robinson said on Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast. “He wasn’t a player that was going to come in, start every game, he’s a very young player with huge potential and he’s already shown that he’s got great talent.”

Robinson highlighted Gray’s opportunities in European games and versatility, playing across multiple positions. “He’s been given opportunities…played at centre-back, right-back, and midfield. It takes time to bed into a club like Tottenham.”

Robinson attributed reunion speculation to “kite-flying journalism,” emphasizing Gray’s Spurs progression aligns with expectations.

The teenager’s development under Ange Postecoglou appears on schedule, diminishing prospects of a Leeds return. With Tottenham investing heavily in Gray’s future, a January loan move to Elland Road seems increasingly unlikely.

In other Leeds United news, the club is expected to secure promotion following a significant £10 million-plus deal, according to Stefan Borson.
