“Celtic Should be a ‘Walkover’ for Leipzig, so what went wrong?”- German Football Legend RIDICULES Celtic as a Regular Underdog While Blaming Leipzig for Allowing a SMALL Club Defeat them in….

German Football Legend Slams RB Leipzig for Celtic Defeat

RB Leipzig’s Champions League campaign has been left reeling after a stunning 3-1 defeat at Celtic Park, and German football legend Andreas Moller has unleashed scathing criticism on the Bundesliga outfit.

Moller, a World Cup and European Championship winner with Germany, as well as a Champions League victor with Borussia Dortmund, lambasted Leipzig for their dismal performance against Celtic.

“It is rather embarrassing for the second-placed club in the Bundesliga to be where they are after four games,” Moller remarked. “The chances of progressing are now minimal for Leipzig.”

Leipzig’s struggles in the Champions League have raised questions about their ability to compete at the highest level. Moller highlighted the significant gap between Leipzig’s expectations and reality.

“There is a huge gap between their own expectations and reality,” he noted. “RB Leipzig are now under more pressure than ever. To reach the play-offs, they will probably need three wins in the remaining four games.”

While acknowledging the difficulty of Leipzig’s group, Moller emphasized that the team’s failure to secure victories in supposedly easier matches, such as against Celtic, is unacceptable.

“To be fair to them, they got a hard draw because they had to play top opponents like Atletico Madrid, Juventus, and Liverpool and still have to play Inter Milan, Aston Villa and Sporting Lisbon,” Moller acknowledged. “However, Leipzig cannot complain if they do not even win the supposedly easier games… like against Celtic.”

Celtic’s impressive victory has bolstered their Champions League prospects, while Leipzig’s campaign hangs in the balance. As the competition intensifies, Leipzig will need to regroup and rediscover their winning form to salvage their European ambitions.
