“There’s a Condition to Unlock This HUGE Adidas Deal and it’s….” – Leeds United SET to Get a Promotion Boost from This HUGE Deal with Adidas BUT….

Leeds United’s Adidas Deal Boosts Promotion Hopes

Leeds United’s extended partnership with Adidas is expected to yield significant financial benefits, with promotion back to the Premier League within the next five years a key objective.

Finance expert Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider that the deal’s structure is likely tied to the West Yorkshire club’s return to the top flight.

Leeds initially partnered with Adidas in 2020, securing a record-breaking five-year deal worth around £10 million per season. Despite relegation to the Championship, Borson believes the club will still earn £10 million annually from the extended agreement.

“Leeds sell a decent amount of kit, even in the Championship,” Borson said. “On top of that, there is the Red Bull situation, which I think Adidas will look at and see a kind of underpinning of the likely progress at the club over the next few years.”

Borson added, “They probably think one way or another over the next five years Leeds are likely to be back in the Premier League. Therefore, the structure of the deal should accommodate that.”

Adidas’ aggressive push into football sponsorship, evident in recent deals with Liverpool, Manchester United, and Newcastle, suggests Leeds’ partnership will remain lucrative.

“I suspect the numbers are still quite aggressive for Leeds, even as a Championship side,” Borson noted.

Currently second in the Championship table, Daniel Farke’s side is well-positioned for a promotion push. The Adidas deal provides a significant financial boost, underscoring the club’s ambition to return to the Premier League.
